    During in-person cross-examination in court, the complainant said he believed he was drugged by Spacey and described him as a "vile, sexual predator" who "raped" him.The complainant was quizzed by Patrick Gibbs KC on behalf of Spacey, who questioned his motives for coming forward.Mr Gibbs suggested that money worries might have been behind him going to police and approaching media outlets, and asked questions about his spending and gambling habits.The defence said the complainant had discussions with lawyers about seeking millions in compensation from Spacey.Mr Gibbs also put questions to the complainant about his sexuality, and suggested that he knew Spacey wanted to "hook up" with the complainant when he agreed to go to his flat.
