Manchester United have been offered Odion Ighalo in a late loan move.
The market is hotting up as we approach the final hours of the transfer window with Manchester United on the verge of signing Bruno Fernandes in a deal that could reach £67.8m. While United finally get their man to boost Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after an injury crisis, including Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay, others are also frantically tabling bids to secure a boost for the remainder of the season. Tottenham Hotspur appear keen to be innovative to salvage their hopes of beating rivals Chelsea to a top four place: Willian Jose of Real Sociedad is their last target having signed Steven Bergwijn, Gedson Fernandes and Giovani Lo Celso on a permanent deal, with Christian Eriksen leaving for Inter Milan.
Frank Lampard could yet sanction the sale of Olivier Giroud, with Lazio the latest club to show an interest, alongside Inter Milan, with Spurs also linked. While Willian, too, is the subject of a £20m bid from Barcelona, with the Brazilian’s contract expiring this summer. Tariq Lamptey, who made his debut last month against Arsenal, could be another departure, with Lille ready to sign him as his contract also nears expiration.
Serie A clubs are always active late in the window and Barcelona promise to make a significant move late on as they bid to replace Luis Suarez.
