Liverpool reopened their Melwood base on Monday under strict safety protocols to allow players the use of pitches for one-hour running sessions.
A maximum of three squad members are allowed into the training facility at a time, with a medic watching their progress from a distance.
None of the coaching staff have been present and each player has the use of an individual pitch for the full 60 minutes.
Social-distancing measures have been enforced and there is no access to the building itself or any of its other facilities.
Less than half the squad have taken advantage of Liverpool’s offer thus far, which was prompted by the fact that exercising in parks and running on pavements have been difficult for some in the group due to their location and the attention it draws.
Melwood offers a safe space for them to undertake their daily running drills.
The Premier League is targeting a return to training in small groups from May 18 under their Project Restart proposal.
This will be discussed in greater detail during Monday’s meeting following the Prime Minister's latest briefing on updated lockdown and social distancing measures.
