Recently, online pharmacy From Mars commissioned a survey into which English cities and towns owed the most money thanks to unpaid prescription fines.
Birmingham was revealed to have topped the list with 2,810 PCN fines for a total value £252,257 in unpaid prescription debt across the whole city.
Manchester and Leeds rounded up the list’s top three with 1,757 and 1,636 PCN fines each, respectively.
It was revealed that Leeds owed around £144,655 in prescription charges, while Manchester had a total debt of £159,161.
