More than 200 people gathered at the Rio Grand River on the Mexico-US border to reunite with their family members after years of being separated.
The event aims to bring loved ones together and highlight issues of immigration.
Patricia Luevano, the sister of a migrant, said: "It is quite sad, but they have to migrate to provide a better future for their families."
