Jonathan Gray, CEO of Ingham’s in New Zealand, will be leaving the role effective July 1, 2022.

His approaching departure was announced by Peter Bush, chairman of Ingham’s.

Gray joined Ingham’s in 2008. He worked across Australia and New Zealand leading sales and marketing before being appointed CEO, New Zealand,

Bush said: “The board would like to express its sincere appreciation to Jonathan and recognize his fundamental role in firstly stabilizing, then leading the growth of the New Zealand business over the past three years. Most recently, he and the leadership team have successfully kept operations running as an essential service while prioritizing the safety of our people in New Zealand throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Jonathan has actively developed future leader and commercial capability in the business, as well as the detailed network infrastructure requirements to support long term growth. Jonathan has been heavily involved in the success of our Waitoa Free Range chicken brand from inception through to the market-leading position it now enjoys. I commend him for his leadership of our business and wish him well in the next steps of his career.”

Gray will continue to support the company over the next six months and to ensure a smooth transition on his departure. The board is confident of appointing a high-caliber candidate who will continue to work together with the New Zealand leadership team and build on the work Gray and his team have been implementing.
