Cash strapped workers could get £125 back from HMRC if they were asked to work from home since April last year.
Furthermore, they could also be eligible to claim tax back from 2020 to 2021 as well, so in total would qualify for a bonus of £250.
Money expert at Hargreaves Lansdown, Sarah Coles said the tax break is available to anyone who has been working from home, no matter how long.
"The Government has started hiking taxes to claw back some of the money it spent on helping us get through the pandemic," she told The Mirror.
