An author spilled details of her near-death experience during an "Ask Me Anything" session on Reddit.
Lauren Canaday said she was declared “clinically dead” after her heart stopped 24 minutes before she was resuscitated.
“I went into sudden cardiac arrest at home this past February — my husband called 911 and started CPR,” she said in a post.
"It took 24 minutes for EMTs to resuscitate me."
Recalling how she felt after her experience, Canaday said she had "extreme peace" for a "few weeks upon waking.”
