The win means Wales are on track for a Grand Slam as they have already defeated Ireland, Scotland and England in the tournament.
Navidi, who was named Player of the Match, said: ”We got the job done. We knew it was going to be tough coming out here as showed with Italy coming at us towards the end.
“They are a really strong side, we knew it was going to be an open game which we came here to play and really enjoyed it.
“We’ve spoken about keeping it simple and exactly what we said we were going to do throughout the week we delivered today.”
Wales will face France next week away in Paris and if France defeat England later on this afternoon both teams will be gunning for the Grand Slam title.
Navidi added: “At the end of the day we have taken it game by game. We’re just moving forward that way and we look to next week. We will build into that Monday.”
