King Charles and Queen Camilla are marking 25 years of Scottish Parliament with a trip to Holyrood, wearing matching tartan outfits for the occasion.
The King opted for a kilt, while the Camilla nodded to the country with tartan accents on her blue coat.
The royals will meet with "local heroes", as well as hear performances from the likes of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the charity, Sistema Scotland.
King Charles has made six visits to the Parliament since 1999.
