Benjamin Afrifa has over 15 years of experience in healthcare management and policy; health
technology, strategy and innovation. After many years of service as Grants Administrator and
Program-Related Investments Officer, Afrifa left the Ford Foundation in 2010. Afrifa is an active
member of the American Political Science Association (APSA); the American Society of Public
Administration (ASPA). Afrifa is also an active member of the American College of Healthcare
Executives.

Afrifa is the host of “In Perspective” and “In Retrospect,” weekly shows on Africana55 Radio –
www.africana55radio.com, a radio station dedicated to discussing issues on Africa, Africans and
People of African Descent worldwide. The shows air on Saturdays: 12pm-2pm and Mondays: 6pm-
9pm EST.
