However, amid the excitement of the latest draw, NS&I is urging its customers to follow different rules to normal.
During the coronavirus pandemic, those wanting to access their savings are being asked to carry out as much as they can online.
"Like many businesses, some of our services are not back up and running as normal," a notice on the NS&I website reads.
"Our offices remain open but our teams need to be much smaller due to the social distancing measures we’ve put in place.

"We’re still here to help, but it’s taking us longer than we’d like to answer your calls and deal with some items we receive through the post, so please only contact us if you absolutely have to.
"We know that many customers want to invest with us at the moment, but you don’t need to worry about missing out as you can do almost everything you need to do online."
However, those who are most in need, such as those who do not have internet access or those who require critically urgent help, can deal with NS&I via phone.
Customers are directed to only send NS&I anything by post if they have no other choice.

How to buy Premium Bonds
New customers who want to buy Premium Bonds are directed to do so online at nsandi.com.
Existing customers who want to increase the size of their holding in Premium Bonds can invest via bank transfer.
They do not need to be registered for online and telephone banking service to do this.
From today, Wednesday September 2, 2002, customers can check to see if they have won in the September 2020 prize draw via NS&I's prize checker.
This can be accessed online via the NS&I website, or using its prize checker app.
For the former method, savers need their Premium Bonds holder's number.
To check via the latter system, the Premium Bonds holder needs their NS&I number or holder's number.
Yesterday, Ian Ackerley, NS&I Chief Executive, said: “We’re absolutely delighted for our two winners in Wales and South Scotland who have won this life changing sum of money.
"The easiest way for customers to get any prizes they win is to have them paid directly into their bank account.
"Customers can also choose to have their prizes automatically reinvested into more Premium Bonds, giving them more chances of winning in future draws.
“Every £1 Bond number has an equal chance of winning, which is why the enduring magic of Premium Bonds and the chance to win a prize each month are still one of the most fun ways to get into that savings habit.”
