There are plenty of reasons to love Sex Education, but putting the razor-sharp script and talented cast aside, one of the Netflix show’s shining stars is its location, particularly the home of protagonist Otis Milburn.
Set in the idyllic Wye Valley in Herefordshire, the house is unlike any other, boasting a Norweigian-inspired exterior complete with vivid scarlet and white detail and a sprawling terrace.
Not only is this a real house, but it transpires that it will soon be available to rent as a holiday home.
The Chalet, as it’s called, is located in a village called Symonds Yat and has five bedrooms.
According to The Chalet’s website, the property is 100 years old. It is described as “perfectly placed as a base for the adventurous looking for an energetic holiday exploring the stunning Wye Valley and Forest of Dean”.
Owner Stuart Morgan has said that the home needs “a bit of maintenance” in order to prepare it for the rental market.
Speaking to LadBible, Morgan revealed he used to live in The Chalet himself. As for when he hopes it will be available for rent, he said “hopefully by Easter” and described interest surrounding the home as “pretty mad”.
“[We’ve had] hundreds of enquiries from around the world,” he told the website.
