Armed Donald Trump supporters have started protesting his election defeat in swing states as the President continued to claim he won and vowed to press on with a legal fight.
Chanting “This isn't over!” and “Stop the steal,” people who voted for Mr Trump demonstrated in swing states Saturday, refusing to accept defeat and echoing his unsubstantiated allegations that Joe Biden won the election by fraud.
It comes as Mr Trump was reportedly approached by Jared Kushner, his son-in-law and adviser, about conceding the election to Mr Biden.
The President remained defiant as he tweeted in all capitals on Saturday “I WON” and continued to claim widespread fraud without offering any evidence.
Boris Johnson ‘sucked up’ to Donald Trump
UK shadow cabinet minister Emily Thornberry has claimed British prime minister Boris Johnson “sucked up” to Donald Trump and got nothing in return.
Ms Thornberry said the PM’s “mutually congratulatory” relationship with the outgoing president will make it difficult for him to forge close ties with his successor Joe Biden.
And she criticised Mr Johnson for refusing to speak out and say that all votes should be counted in the US election when Mr Trump was trying to shut down counts.

Trump supporters protest election defeat in swing states
Supporters of Donald Trump have come out to protest against his election defeat, refusing to accept defeat and echoing the President's unsubstantiated allegations that the Democrats won by fraud.
Chanting “This isn’t over!” and “Stop the steal", crowds of up to a few thousand — some of them openly carrying guns — decried the news of Joe Biden's victory.
In Atlanta, outside the state Capitol in the longtime Republican stronghold of Georgia, chants of "Lock him up!" rang out among an estimated 1,000 Trump supporters.
